hello

Post by What They Could Do » Tue Apr 10, 2007 3:27 pm

hello, I'm ed from "What They Could Do, They Did"... we put on a weekend of music and art and stuff in the cafe last July, and we're coming back for the whole first week of August this year.

We were hoping to use the gallery during our stay, if it's available... we are planning to be performing / exhibiting from Sunday August 5th to Saturday the 11th, with two days to set everything up beforehand. I'm not sure quite what people are planning on doing, but we'd definitely be having static visual works in there, possibly some sound installations and / or performance-y things as well. We have an archive of last summer's work at http://www.theydid.org.uk/2006/archive/ if you want more of an idea of the sort of stuff we did last summer.

So, yes, I was hoping someone could let me know if there's a set method for applying to use the gallery, and whether there's a specific person I'd need to talk to about booking it? We can easily put together a proper proposal explaining just how ace we are, if you'd like one... :) either let me know on here or email ed@theydid.org.uk

thanks. x

Sounds great to me.

What exactly is confirmation needed about?

can we take that as a yes? :)

umm, we do kind of need to start getting plans sorted, so if you can give me a 100% answer as soon as you can, that'd be great.

i fear the above email address might be playing up, so perhaps edwardgillett@gmail.com might be a better alternative.
