I came across a new style CAPTCHA method - recaptcha. You have to put in 2 words. The cuningness is dastardly. There is a link to a phpBB patch that can be applied. Looks quite easy to do, and might foil the bots for a while.

Is that really very cunning? I'd love to get the password thing done sometime, Swith, if we can work together on it.

I also think we should consider greater secrecy for working group forums, like only registered members can read them. I know there's a compromise in terms of openness, but I think it's preferable to letting any random fuckwit read about all our goings on.
