June events

Post by Shannon » Fri May 25, 2007 4:09 pm

Dai and Jane are away. Is anyone going to do it? We've got a couple of guys willing to distribute them for us (very nice fellas who put up posters as a job and like to play chess).

Any takers?

I'm on it. If someone is in and can send me the events, it would be sweet. Otherwise I'll be in sometime on Sunday.

Here is a draft of the poster. If anyone has ideas/corrections, post now or forever hold your codpiece. We will choose some films tonight, so these will be added before it hits the photocopier.

There´s a couple of things, but I´m not looking at the events book so I don´t know for sure...

State of Undress is a band, Charlie is the contact. Her name doesn´t need to be on the poster. Apparently theyŕe playing for save the whales week. Make that as funny as you´d like.

I think Friday the 1st might be incorrect. The end of the year thing seemed to have a scribble through it when I looked, and they were asking for a dj(!)

Thanks. I wasn't sure about the End of Year thing. There was a scribble through some of it, looking like they wanted to cancel one bit but leave another bit.

Here is the final poster. It is in PDF and Inkscape SVG formats. I'll come down and launch the printing sometime today unless someone else wants to wrassle with the printer.
