Brand new skill-sharing Creative Writing Workshop. All levels extremely welcome. In fact\, as long as you can spell your own name\, you're in. And if Irvine Welsh wants to turn up\, all the better! It's structure will be relatively informal\, based primarily on skill-sharing with fellow scribblers - a chance to share work and give/receive constructive criticism. We'll also try some short writing exercises on chosen themes\, such as Character or Dialogue\, with group consensus on what we cover the next week. Old Hat Books is a Radical Book and Hat Library. It is based in the Front of Room at the Forest Cafè\;.
The Library is full of Radical Books and Hats which anyone can borrow.
The Library is collectively run and anyone can get involved.
Lots of the books and hats are donated &hellip\; and lots were collectivized (which means that people put their books here temporarily for others to read).
We want the Library to be a community shaped alternative resource for the dissemination of radical thought and radical hats!
We are used to organize several open Readings with tea parties &hellip\; Fundraiser shows and lots of workshops like Calligraphy\, Letter - writing and Creative writing &hellip\; come to enjoy them!

All the books in the library have been donated or "\;collectivised"\;. We need your books too!
"\;Collectivised"\; books will still belong to the person who donated them but will live in The Library for others to read untill the original owner wants them back.

This workshop is an exploration of a consensus-building process using the topic of &lsquo\;Gender in/equality today&rsquo\; as the focus of inquiry. \; Participants will be guided through a number of different approaches to understand and &lsquo\;see&rsquo\; &lsquo\;Gender&rsquo\; \; from a collective pespective and to explore a dialogue process that prompts non-conflict engagement and communication. \;

Chi Kung ( also called qi gong &ndash\; pronounced chee-gung ) is an ancient Chinese art of inner
peace and inner balance. Almost every modality of healing believes that there is a life force
within us. The Chinese call this chi\, which means energy.
Chi Kung is used to keep this chi in balance and it is believed that when this chi is in balance
every aspect of the body works more efficiently thus creating optimum health. Chi Kung is
believed to stimulate the immune system in ways other methods seem unable\, making most
self healing possible. Our bodies are meant to heal themselves of any ailment. More importantly\,
Chi Kung is used extensively in China as a preventative measure against most common diseases.
