If You Are Amazing, Come Play
This is How:
It’s easy. The Forest exists to give both established and emerging artists a chance to perform in a friendly environment in the Main Café Space.
All you have to do is:
- choose your ideal dates and times

- check the Events Book located in the kitchen to see which dates and times are available.
- Book yourself in. Remember: the space is yours. You can move the furniture, bring decorations, black lights, disco balls, roller skates, whatever. Just make sure the space looks good when you leave, thanks.
The Forest provides the space free of charge to musicians who wish to play. There is no entry charge, so you can’t charge on the door, sorry. Also, we prefer if you don't pass the hat or ask for donations.
You Can: sell cds, t-shirts, access to your fan club, mugs etc.

We Provide free of charge:
- 4 kilowatt PA with bass bins
- 3 mics and mic stands
- 2 turntables
- 12 track mixing desk
- dvd & vhs projector to enhance your performance. You may also plug in your laptop if you have a video lead for it
(At the moment we do not have a sound engineer. Persons must run their own sound. Maybe this may change. If you are a sound engineer, let us know)
It is recommended that persons do their own promotion. You may be able to use our computers and photocopier to make posters / flyers - ask for details. Also, if you give us a digital image we can put it on our website.
Remember: we are a BYOB venue only. Please bring your own drink. (Performers don’t need to pay corkage)
