Community Film Shows
The Forest is the ideal forum for community groups to show documentary films to the rest of the community. As with all events you can make a booking by coming to the cafe or by ringing 0131 220 4538 (but not during the 12-2pm lunch rush please). Bring your peoples. Bring a bottle. We provide the food. Sorry but you can't charge entry. Feel free to follow up your film with discussions, talks or workshops. Put up posters and spread your words.
Film Submissions
We will show all short films we recieve. Short film showings are often
spontaneous, but once in a while, we have the shortest night which is a
whole evening dedicated to these tiny flicks.
Bring in or
post us your short films, all submissions must be DVD [or dataCD] and
clearly labelled, please don't give us your only copy as things get
lost the whole time!
