there's a £320 espresso machine down in newcastle that we could buy if we think it would be good? ours is a bit fucked as one of the elements is dead.

The Star & Shadow (in Newcastle upon Tyne) have got a massive coffee
machine
needing a new home.
It was bought on ebay but has never been used much. This partly 'cos it
needs a
pressure-stat (to turn off the power to the heater when the pressure in
the
boiler is high enough) for £55. But the main reason is that we find
making
cafétiers much easier (and probably more energy efficient). We don't
really
need to make fancy espressos. And it is a big machine.
This machine would suit a social centre who makes a lot of coffee. It's
the
same sort of size as you get in coffee shops. There's a picture here:

Let us know if you are interested. Delivery at some point might be
possible -
but it is really heavy.
